Is My Child Chosen by God?
Chosen Early
Did you know that a child can be chosen by God and that commission can be activated early on in childhood. Most people feel or believe that they will begin to see or verify their child's calling around adolescent or the teenage years, but God can and have even called many of His people as young as infants or toddlers. This may seem strange to you but let me give you some scriptures.
The Book of Jeremiah 1:7 it states, But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I Am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you”! With a child chosen early, you may experience specific behaviors, or actions that your child may possess that may seem more unusual or even frightening and different. As mentioned in this scripture, God will give them the tools and gifts to complete that task that He has ordained.
Let us examine some Gifts of the Spirit of children who are chosen and called early on in life. Each individual will receive a call with extraordinary gifts of the Spirit from the Lord, and there can be multiplied gifts and additions to the calling, so the list that I'm providing are just three examples. Remember that many have been called but few have been chosen. Here are scriptures that may help you understand some of these gifts.
The book of Ephesians 4:11-12 it states, So, Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. This scripture tells us that titles and assignments will be placed upon the chosen ones. Jesus already knew firsthand who He was going to call and chose for the assignments. As well as what gifts they needed to complete the assignments. Let’s look at anther scripture!
The book of 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 it states, To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. We can clearly see from this scripture that your child will be given Godly gifts that may surprise you but know that they come from the Lord.
The meanings of each Gift
The Spirit a message of wisdom: Words of wisdom will be spoken
To another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit: High level of knowledge will be presented
To another faith by the same Spirit: High level of faith in the Lord will be presented.
To another gifts of healing by that one Spirit: Healings of numerous things, people and animals
To another miraculous powers: High level of power will be displayed
To another prophecy: Will be able to prophecy things that they were not told from anyone
To another distinguishing between spirits: Can discern between good and evil spirits etc.
To another speaking in different kinds of tongues: Can speak in different tongues or languages.
To still another the interpretation of tongues: Can discern between different kinds of tongues and can even be languages.
Take this time look at the gifts and see what comes to mind about your toddler, child, adolescent and teenager and which gifts they are displaying now.
