Prayer to Release Fear.

Fear is not something that God wants us to experience and has not given us a spirit of fear. Healthy fear such as stranger danger is okay but fear that halts or stunts you from normal everyday things is a problem.

Here is a prayer that may help you.

Heavenly Father God, I come to you now in the name of Jesus.

Lord, I am struggling with fear to the point where I am not able to get certain things done. I’m not sure when the fear began but I know that it has become too strong for me to handle. It is so overwhelming and has changed things in my life because of it. I have missed out on doing certain things and making certain changes because of it and that shows I need your help.

Lord, release this spirit of fear from me. Bind this spirit and cover me with the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, take the spirit of fear away from me and never let it return to me.

Father, right now I believe that you have heard my plea and will release this spirit of fear from me forever.  

I love you and have prayed these things in Jesus’ name.
