Prayer for Encouragement.

Sometimes we will go through tough times in our lives when we feel as though we have failed, or we may not be able to accomplish something. This could lead to having a decrease in courage! God has given us a spirit of discouragement but to have courage in believing that He can and will provide for us.

Here is a prayer that may help you.

Heavenly Father God, I come to you now in the name of Jesus.

Lord, I have been feeling discouraged about things that have been taking place in my life. I would like to be more encouraged so that I can accomplish the things that you would have me to do. The things that I have experienced are now making me feel like I won’t be able to be happy or have success.

Lord, please remind me of the encouragement that you have placed upon me, and I will rise in courage to the occasions that you put before me.

I love you and have prayed these things in Jesus’ name.
