Pray to get over a breakup!

Some individuals may believe that teen breakups are not as serious as adults break ups, but they are. When experiencing a breakup, it can feel like someone, or something has passed away from you. If there was dishonesty that caused the break, that is an additional level of pain. God does not want his children to remain in a hurtful state.

Here is a prayer that may help you.

Heavenly Father God, I come to you now in the name of Jesus.

Lord, I know that I am young, but I was in love with this person who hurt me. You know what they did to me and why I feel so bad about it. I trusted this person and thought that we would be together for a long time. Why does this pain hurt so bad that I am not acting like my normal self? Lord, it hurts!

Please take this pain away from me and help me to move on from this person Lord. Heal my heart, Father!

I love you and have prayed these things in Jesus’ name.
